A brain healthy diet may reduce dementia risk.

Diets low in saturated fat and high in antioxidant rich fruits and vegetables have been associated with better brain function and reduced risk of dementia. While the benefits of specific nutrients are not yet clear, what is good for the heart is thought to be also good for the brain. A healthy diet is likely to contribute to brain health and may reduce the risk of developing dementia.
